Restored
In the grey of the day
dark clouds absorb water
and release intense rain.
Without a hint of light
or rainbow shades.
Such is the glooming effects
of a love that becomes estranged.
Happiness gives way to sadness
from a state of once being adored.
Time passes and the wounds heal
and the joy of living and loving
is once again restored.
