The Hand of an Angel

A gentle voice of reason

Amidst the chaos we call life

It came as if in dreams

Across the great horizon

Soft lyrical tones of comfort

Sent to ease a troubled soul

Standing perched above the valley

On the edge of deepest woe

Offered without thought of self

Piercing light of friendship’s kin

Dissipates the shadow of darkness

That had settled here within

Across a yawning distance

A hand extended to a stranger

Offering support and loving care

To this oh so needy creature

Never doubt the love garnered

Within this heart so unworthy

My Angel from across the sea

Who sent her golden light to me

For Deb….Thank you!
