There's always 'hope'
She took so much aboard it hurt
It wasn't what she had asked for
He'd given her the last shred of hope
Then fate and a lie called out more
A dream a vision her desires
Something to call her own
Black clouds hung above her head
It quickly disguised what it had shown
In the near distance someone whispers
She is comforted by these small words
Don't despair for good news awaits you
And yes all prayers are heard!
So Liza slap on one more smile
There will be happy days ahead
And yes mate, I will be here
After all, I said I was your friend
