'Insecurities'

A young woman asks as she sets
alone, among the quiet darkness of the whispering breeze.
"If insecurities could be conquered, would not my life be brighter?"
The question is an honest one, brought on by another fight.
Another confrontation with the love in her life.
Trust is the insecurity that she can't seem to conquer.
Although she believes he loves her, the distance to their relationship
from all the miles that separate, makes her thoughts doubt.
Ashamed and feeling guilty for the feelings that cling.
She wonders how to make it better without loosing her dignity?
Answers don't come easily, in fact they are not at all.
Because although she knows, what need, is to be done, the doing makes it
hard.
Which keeps the question unanswered and the doubts linger on.
Here among the winds whispers as it tickles around her face, she looses
hope,
of the love that she wants to keep.
For the breaking of her heart was what she wanted to escape,
but somehow do to her own thoughts,
she will still feel it break.
