The Kiss
You look into my eyes__
My breath stops
as my heartbeat quickens.
Your hand brushes my hair
behind my ear.
I tremble as you
pull me close.
I shiver from the heat
of your body against mine.
Your lips come close__
soft as the wings of a butterfly
they brush against mine.
Teasing gently__
your tongue glides across my lower lip.
I sigh.
I feel your breath
so warm, so sweet.
Your teeth nibble lightly
at the softness of my lips
before your tongue
invades the warm moistness inside.
I moan.
The kiss deepens,
my tongue finds yours__
they curl and swirl
together
in some sort of primitive dance.
A low growl escapes your throat.
My head spins__
I'm transported
to a sensual realm.
Never wanting to return.
The Kiss.
Our first.
