Life With A Capital L
My heart today sobs once more
Sad memories fill my mind,
No sense in fighting what I feel
Must face what's left behind.
Time has flown on the wings of angels
With many loved ones sharing the
flight,
Taking and breaking the mightiest
essence
Lifting rivers of tears to a greater
height.
Another death, one more farewell
Saying goodbye because we must,
The torment of answers never to have
To the living, so typically unjust.
Yet through my loss I found my wings
Now I'm slowly learning how to fly,
God opened my eyes so I could see
LIFE is for living, even though
another may die...
