Mother's Day

On this, your special day

I have something I’d like to say.

A bouquet of Daisies, I give to you

In deep appreciation for all you do.

Their lovely white petals, a reminder of

Your sweet and pure unselfish love.

You always listen when I need an ear

And lend a shoulder when I shed my tears.

You hold my hand when I’m afraid

And always come running without delay.

With chicken soup, you ease my cold

And know where I hurt without being told.

When the wind howls and thunder booms

You hold me close and sing silly tunes.

I can’t even begin to tell all that you do,

But I want you to know... I love you too.
