My Husband

I love all the ways of YOU.

The way you laugh out loud at silly comedy.

The way you roar and yell when watching the game.

The way your eyes spark when you look at me.

The way you know every Rocker by name

even the most obscure drummer or bass guitarist.

The way your lips smile as they lower to mine__

in a gentle, soft as a breeze kiss.

I love that you just have to have

five hundred baseball caps__

even if you never wear but one.

The way you run your fingers through my hair

and gently cup my face.

Your love of fast cars

and the way you always drive slowly__

when I'm with you.

The way you always need just one more CD.

Your love of fishing

and the way you always want me to go too.

I love the way you make me feel__

beautiful and special.

I love the way your grin makes you look__

sexy and vulnerable at the same time.

I love the way your strong hand

feels holding mine.

The way your strong arms make me feel safe.

I love the way you refuse to fight__

when you're angry with me__

not wanting to say what can never be unsaid.

I love all the ways of YOU.
