I apologize for getting this out a month behind, but decided October is a much better month for the fall edition than September. A warm welcome to my new subscribers, if any of you are writers and would like to be featured in this newsletter, please send me an email. Just a reminder: I never sell, trade or give away email addresses and you won't get any mail from me other than my quarterly newsletter or on very rare occasions a news or contest event notice. I use blind copy to send to subscribers, so no one sees any one else's address.

Finally Black Rock: A Time For Love is in production. I know several of you have been anxiously awaiting it's release and already know the problems I've had getting it to this point. The good news is that The Wild Rose Press offered a contract and I accepted. My editor has said they are going to try for a November or December e-book release with the print version to follow.

Rock: A Time For Love by E. G. Parsons
Imagine discovering your entire life has been a lie, you'd been kidnapped as a toddler and sent back to the 1800's. Roxanne makes this discovery from the rudest man she's ever met. A man who can turn her brain to mush and set her soul afire with just a look. You know the type, devastatingly sexy...impossible to resist. While fighting to remain the lady she was raised to be, Roxanne also must deal with another man...charming, obsessed...evil. http://egparsons/mystery_of_black_rock.htm

Lizzie And The Boy's Club
Growing up in the Florida Everglades, Lizzie, an undisputed tomboy, doesn't have to look for trouble. It finds her. Determined to prove that a girl is every bit as good as a boy, she tries to join the Everglade Rebels, an all boy's club. Come with Lizzie on her adventures, as she makes a bid for female equality. A story for both children and adults, "Lizzie And The Boy's Club" will take you back to a time of coal oil lanterns and outhouses. A wholesome adventure about friends, family, and one little girl who can't stay out of trouble. http://egparsons.com/lizzy_and_the_boy.htm

My Review of Waiting For The Rain
If you're looking for something fresh, unique and extremely well written, then don't hesitate to get your copy of "Waiting For The Rain". Not a typical genre romance, the characters are so real, you'll be sitting on the edge of your seat while you root for them to overcome the almost insurmountable obstacles in their path. I think I chewed everyone of my fingernails off while reading the last few chapters. Be sure to have your Kleenex handy, you'll need them. I experienced so many emotions while reading this beautiful story and cried like a baby when I finished it. Bravo, Jean, for a truly wonderful reading experience.

We lived up over the Gasworks Bridge - Ask me about all the things that went 'bump' in the night sometime....will blow you away!
Parramatta is aboriginal for 'where the eels lie' and our football team are actually called, the Parramatta Eels! Mum worshiped them! When I worked in the city of Parra, I often had one particular football legend drop by that she demanded I grab an autograph before he left the shop!! Lol, poor guy was so embarrassed, but Mum got the autograph anyway...

Parramatta: the 1st settlement town in 1788!
Many convicts were shipped to Sydney, then over to Parramatta so when 1988 rolled around, we all celebrated its Bi-centenary down at Parramatta Park. Parramatta is the first major location of settlement by Europeans after the arrival of the 'First Fleet', which brought convicts from England in 1788. Before this time Indigenous people lived in the area for thousands of years, relying on the bountiful supply of food from Parramatta River which runs east into Sydney Harbour. ‘Darug’ Aborigines who shared similar languages occupied the area stretching from the Blue Mountains to the coast. http://camwest.pps.com.au/heritage/route_sites/site_32.html
