HAIKU - A Japanese verse of 17 syllables, 3 lines of 5, 7 and 5. Below are some examples.
Storms of life have gone
Rainbow colors dot the sky
A new age now dawns
The leaves gently fall
Summer days have gone away
Wisdom comes with age
Mounds of sugar white
Cold frosty air on your face
Winter's bright reward
Water rushing fast
Fearsome with its awesome mite
Sweeping through the town
Lions roaring loud
Stalking by the dark of night
Now the feast begins
Sunshine bright and warm
Giving life to all that grows
Flowers, weeds, no choice.
